Raised in Small Town, North Carolina, in an entrepreneurial household, I watched my father manage his custom home business, instilling in me the philosophy of transforming dreams into tangible outcomes. This early exposure to entrepreneurship ignited my passion for creation and led me to design my first website and delve into graphic design at the age of 11.

Building on these early experiences, I pursued rigorous academic training, earning a BA and MA in English Literature and Composition. My academic journey significantly shaped my professional approach, allowing me to blend sophisticated rhetorical strategies with practical market insights. Additionally, my role as a former professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I taught multimodal composition and rhetoric through a digital and online lens, further refined my ability to craft compelling digital communications.

Today, as the founder of what began as Samm Sawyer Media, evolved into SSM Creative Collective and now stands as BizCo Studio, I leverage my extensive experience in content creation, digital strategy, and educational leadership to drive transformative results for our clients.
